Please note that the Weekly Hikes page may include hikes for multiple weeks. Pay special attention to the dates and times of the hikes. Also note that the Hike Schedule is updated regularly and will likely change during the course of the season.
* Note: Hike leaders rate the difficulty of weekly hikes in each category as Easy, Moderate, Difficult, or Strenuous. Keep in mind that an Easy hike in the Black group may still be considered Difficult for hikers in the Green or Blue groups, as it will likely be longer and follow the typically faster Black group pace.
Hikers are encouraged to contact the Hike Leader of a scheduled hike with any questions about the hike's difficulty or pace.
Hike leaders reserve the right to assess a hiker’s ability to participate in a given hike to ensure the group stays together and everyone has a safe, enjoyable experience. This may result in some hikers being asked to take a different category of hike.
Blue Hikes are typically between 5 and 10 miles, easy to moderate difficulty with moderate elevation gain. Pace is moderate.*
Black Hikes are typically more than 10 miles, hard to strenuous difficulty with significant elevation gain. Pace is typically fast.*
Green Hikes are typically less than 5 miles, easy with little elevation gain. Pace is slow.*
