Our annual Tahoe Tramper End of Season Fall dinner will be Monday October 27, 2025 atTAMARACK JUNCTION, 13101 South Virginia St., Reno, NV 89511.  Doors open at 5PM.

 

The cost is $50 per person inclusinve of Tax & Tip. 

Evening Schedule

  • 5:00 PM – No-host cocktail bar opens

  • 6:15 PM – Brief update from Jim Beres (members please be seated)

  • Following update – Dinner buffet by table number

  • 7:15 PM – Guest speaker: Will Richardson, co-founder and Executive Director of the Tahoe Institute for Natural Sciences

About the Speaker
Will Richardson has lived in Tahoe since 1994 and has studied the region’s natural history and ecosystems for over 20 years. A foremost expert on the birds of the Lake Tahoe Basin, he has also published research on chipmunks, butterflies, beetles, dragonflies, and even the discovery of a new salamander species. Will holds a Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno. While always birding, he also enjoys backcountry skiing, climbing, sea kayaking, Ultimate Frisbee, and the occasional music gig.

All payments must be received by our cutoff date, October 17, 2025 when we give our final count to the restaurant. There will be no refunds for cancellations after October 17.
